Continuing the business trip to cooperative and friendly cities in the French Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium, on the days from March 5 to 8, 2024, Hue city working delegation led by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People's Council has visited and worked in Namur city and Brussels city, Kingdom of Belgium.

The delegation of Hue City, led by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, standing member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People's Council, was on working visit to Cergy City from February 28 to March 4, 2024 at the invitation of Mayor of Cergy City (French Republic). The delegation also included Mr. Phan Le Chung, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of the University of Arts and certain lecturers.

On 3rd June, 2023, at Nghinh Luong Dinh, Hue City People’s Committee collaborated with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and relevant units to organize a cycling event on the occasion of World Bicycle Day (3rd June) and the Handover of sponsored bikes to Hue Smart Bike project: This event is within the framework of Cycling week 2023, under the Pilot Project of Public Bike Sharing.
HUE CITY AFTER 48 YEARS OF LIBERATION - PRESERVATION WITH DEVELOPMENT

On the morning of March 26th, 1975, when the revolutionary flag flew atop the Phu Van Lau flagpole, marking the historical milestone for the complete liberation of Thua Thien Hue province and Hue city. Over 48 years, Hue city has achieved many important achievements in all fields. The material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved, the city's socio-economic development has made great growth, tourism has been identified as a key economic sector and has been invested in upgrading; social and cultural have changed vigorously. Hue city has been recognized many elevated signification by international organizations, the Party and the Government. The cultural and human resources of the ancient capital have been fostered and promoted effectively, making practical contributions to the general development of the whole province.
