  On June 9th, 2024, at Hue City Culture, Information and Sports Center (23 - 25 Le Loi) the Opening Ceremony and activities of the Hue - Cergy Cultural - Art Exchange Day took place “From traditional to modern”. This is an activity taking place during Hue International Festival Week 2024.

  On the evening of June 7, 2024, the opening ceremony of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 took place at Kien Trung Palace, opening a series of exciting activities of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024.

  Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 promises a unique and captivating array of artistic programs, a vibrant “feast” of diverse cultures
  Hue Festival 2024, with its highlight being the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024, will feature the theme “Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development” and will take place from June 7th to 12th, 2024. Under the overarching theme “A Brilliant Aspiration for Millennia,” the opening ceremony of the Hue Festival Week 2024 will be held for the first time at Kien Trung Palace in the Hue Imperial Citadel, promising spectacular and impressive performances from both domestic and international art troupes.

  Hue city participated in the 44th General Assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF), signed a cooperation agreement with Namur city (Kingdom of Belgium), visited and worked with Blois city (French Republic)
  With the consent of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, from May 21, 2024 to May 29, 2024, Hue city working group has visited Lausanne, Switzerland led by Mr.Vo Le Nhat, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee to attend the General Assembly of the International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIMF); signed a cooperation agreement with Namur city (Kingdom of Belgium), worked with EURASIA Association (Switzerland) and visited and worked with the city of Blois (French Republic).

  Recognition of world documentary heritage with embossed cast on the Nine Peaks in Hue
  The fact that "The Bas-reliefs on the Nine Bronze Urns in Hue Imperial Palace" was registered as an Asia-Pacific Regional Documentary Heritage has increased the total number of Vietnam's documentary heritage registered by UNESCO to 10 heritage properties (including 3 world documentary heritage properties and 7 Asia-Pacific documentary heritage properties).

  Hue Traditional Cuisine Week 2024 takes place from April 27th to May 1st
  Continuing the success of culinary programs previously organized by Hue city, Hue Traditional Cuisine Week 2024 is organized by Hue City People's Committee to honor, preserve, promote Hue culinary cultural values, aiming for new, attractive tourism products and being held annually to serve domestic and international tourists each time they come to Hue, at the same time, it aims to make Hue one of the member cities of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of culinary creativity by 2025.

  Continuing the business trip to cooperative and friendly cities in the French Republic and the Kingdom of Belgium, on the days from March 5 to 8, 2024, Hue city working delegation led by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People's Council has visited and worked in Namur city and Brussels city, Kingdom of Belgium.

  Hue City delegation on working visit to Cergy City (France)
  The delegation of Hue City, led by Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, standing member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, Chairman of Hue City People's Council, was on working visit to Cergy City from February 28 to March 4, 2024 at the invitation of Mayor of Cergy City (French Republic). The delegation also included Mr. Phan Le Chung, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Council of the University of Arts and certain lecturers.
