Hue City nominated for Asia's leading cultural destination award

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has just called for votes for Vietnam’s tourism at the World Travel Awards 2023.

On February 20th, 2023, the 30th World Travel Awards (WTA) in Asia and Oceania opened the voting portal at www.worldtravelawards.com.

Particularly, Hue City has been nominated for Asia's Leading Cultural Destination 2023 award.

Meanwhile, Vietnam has been listed among nominees in key categories including Asia's Leading Travel Management Company, Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination, Asia’s Leading Nature Destination, Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination, Asia’s Leading Beach Destination, and Asia’s Leading Sustainable Tourism Destination, etc.

The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, is the most prestigious award. This brand is recognized globally and dubbed “Oscar of Travel Industry”. In addition to that, it is held annually to honor the world's top destinations and the best service providers in the fields of travel and tourism.

Voting period lasts until the end of July 23rd, 2023.

Visiting and working in the cities of Namur and Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium by Hue city leaders

On 3rd June, 2023, at Nghinh Luong Dinh, Hue City People’s Committee collaborated with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and relevant units to organize a cycling event on the occasion of World Bicycle Day (3rd June) and the Handover of sponsored bikes to Hue Smart Bike project: This event is within the framework of Cycling week 2023, under the Pilot Project of Public Bike Sharing.
